Stow
Soccer Club will provide a Stow Soccer Club team colored shirt, which should be worn at each session.
Players
will receive a game schedule to know which teams/colors they will play.
All
players should dress appropriately for the weather. In case
of cooler weather, it is easier to take off the extra clothing
as opposed to being chilled.
The
program is held even during rain showers, provided the temperature
is relatively comfortable. The only time a session will
be cancelled is during a lightning storm or at the discretion
of the Program Director (i.e. snow on fields, etc.).
Please
arrive at least 10 minutes before each session so that we
may be able to start on time.
Please
put your player’s name on his/her soccer ball in several places
in Magic Marker so that a forgotten ball can be given back
to the player. Please make sure your player has all clothing
and equipment before leaving the park.
We
recommend that each player spend at least 15 minutes 2-3
times a week practicing at home what we cover in the training
session in order to become a better player.
WE
NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS!We
need interested parents to help assist the Program
Director at the sessions; no background in the game is necessary.
If interested, please indicate it on the player registration
form.
